Topanga Police Station to Host Golf Tourney

The event takes place Monday.

The Topanga Community Police Station, which serves Woodland Hills and the surrounding areas, and the Topanga Boosters are hosting a golf tournament Monday in honor of the Wounded Warrior Project.

Now in its second year, the event will take place at the Porter Valley Country Club, with check-in beginning at 9 a.m. and a startgun start at 11 a.m. Golfing will be followed by an awards dinner at 5 p.m.

Special guest Tim Conway Jr. of KFI radio will be present, as will George Noory of radio's Coast to Coast.

Entrance fee for the tournament is $130 per person and, along with the 18 holes of golf, includes breakfast, course refreshments, lunch and dinner, a participation gift, entries for a drawing contest and an awards presentation for first and second place gross and net tems.

On Monday, mulligan packages—which include a putting contest, longest drive and closest to the pin contests—and extra drawing tickets will be available for purchase.
