Update: Suspicious Package

The LAPD has determined a suspicious package to be luggage and not dangerous.

The Los Angeles Police Department has determined that a suspicious package on Shoup Avenue in Woodland Hills reported late Wednesday morning is harmless.

The item, located on the 5800 block of Shoup Avenue near Ventura Boulevard turned out to be a harmless piece of luggage, according to the LAPD.

Wednesday's is the second suspicious package the department has responded to in Woodland Hills this week. The first was on Monday and also turned out to be safe.
