Watch: Police Seek Armed Car Burglar

A brazen car burglar paraded before a security camera with a gun and spent 30 minutes breaking into a car in a Northridge parking structure.

Police today circulated security video of a man wanted for burglarizing a car in the Northridge area.

The crime occurred in late May in the underground parking lot of a multi- unit building, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. Police did not release the address.

“The suspect entered the victim’s vehicle by cutting the convertible top and remove the victim’s property,” police said in a statement. “The suspect was in the underground parking garage for over 30 minutes and is seen on the video holding a handgun.”

Anyone with information on the crime was urged to call LAPD Devonshire Station detectives at (818) 832-0609, or Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-TIPS.
