Happy Friday, everyone.

Good morning, Woodland Hills! It's Friday, and here are five things to know today:

  1. The El Camino Real High School baseball team faces Chatsworth, a West Valley League rival, at 1 p.m. Saturday at Dodger Stadium. Go Conquistadores!
  2. The Rockatomics Gem and Mineral Society will host its annual Rockhound Roundup Show this weekend, beginning today, at the Pierce College farm. Gems, jewelry, rocks, minerals and fossils will be on sale from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Admission is free.
  3. Looking ahead, the ninth annual Still Saving Lives Car Show takes place Saturday at Warner Center Park, 5800 Topanga Canyon Blvd., from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is free.
  4. If it felt hot to you yesterday, that's because it was. The temperature reached 96 degrees, which ties a heat record set in 2004, according to the National Weather Service, which is predicting a 90-degree high for today.
  5. Looking to save a few pennies when you fill up for the weekend? The least expensive gas in Woodland Hills, according to gasbuddy.com, can be found for $4.15 per gallon (for regular gas) at the Arco station at 6310 Fallbrook Ave. at Sylvan Street.
