Good morning, Woodland Hills! It's Monday, and this week has lots to offer with chances to learn, listen, watch and get involved. Here are some of the things taking place in the next few days.:
- It's open mic night and trivia night at The Rack and the White Harte Pub, respectively, tomorrow.
- There will be a full board meeting of the neighborhood council at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 13 at , 20800 Burbank Blvd.
- Also on Wednesday, Whole Foods will host a presentation on Beating Sugar Blues. Learn about ways to master your sweet cravings and cook up a few recipes using natural alternatives to processed sugars. The free class takes place from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the store at 21347 Ventura Blvd.
- On Thursday, there will be a one-time screening of the Stratford Shakespeare Festival's production of The Tempest starring Academy Award winner Christopher Plummer at 7 p.m. at the AMC Promenade 16.
- And, of course, the weekly Woodland Hills farmers market takes place Friday from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Kaiser Permanente, 5601 de Soto Ave, Woodland Hills.
