  1. Whole Foods will host a presentation on Beating Sugar Blues. Learn about ways to master your sweet cravings and cook up a few recipes using natural alternatives to processed sugars. The free class takes place from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the store at 21347 Ventura Blvd.
  2. There will be a full board meeting of the neighborhood council at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 13. NOTE: The location of this meeting has changed. The new location is family center at 5700 Rudnick Ave., Woodland Hills.

  4. The National Weather Service predicts a high today of 89 degrees today, and expects some patchy fog before 11 a.m. with gradual clearing throughout the day. The overnight low prediction is for 56 degrees.
