- Freddie Ravel will perform the Valley Cultural Center's first Monday Morning Concert for Children at 10 a.m. today at the Mdrid Theatre at 21622 Sherman Way, Canoga Park. The free concerts are aimed at children from 6 to 9 years old.
- The Woodland Hills branch library hosts Dream Big With the Magic of Tony Daniels today to kick off its summer reading program. The free program begins at 2 p.m.
- Looking ahead, Sunday brings a beach party to Warner Ranch Park. The next free Concert on the Green features Surfin' Safari, Beach Boys tribute band, at 6 p.m.
- The National Weather Service is predicting a sunny high of 88 degrees today and a low of about 55 degrees overnight.
- The lowest price of gas in Woodland Hills, according to GasBuddy.com, is $3.65 per gallon for regular. Find it at the Thrifty station at 6000 N. Canoga Ave. at Oxnard Street and the Arco station at 6310 Fallbrook Ave. at Sylvan Street.
