  1. The West Valley meets the cast of West Side Story at at 1 p.m. today. Members of the cast will be signing their book Our Story Jets and Sharks Then and Now.
  2. Also at Barnes & Noble today, is a meet and greet with Simon Lewis, author of the Chicken Soup for the Soul series' Boost Your Brain Power and Rise and Shine, a story of Lewis' horrific car accident, his subsequent come adn his more than 15 years of treatments and therapy. This event takes place at 11 a.m.
  3. If you still haven't set your plans for the fourth, check out our comprehensive list of Fourth of July Fireworks shows in the greater-Greater LA Area. Of course, you can stay right here in Woodland Hills for the fireworks extravaganza at Warner Park. It's free and starts at 6 p.m.
  4. The National Weather Service is predicting a sunny high of 89 degrees today and a low of about 57 degrees overnight.
  5. The lowest price of gas in Woodland Hills, according to GasBuddy.com, is $3.59 per gallon for regular at the Arco stations at 22004 Clarendon St. at Topanga Canyon Boulevard and  6310 Fallbrook Ave. at Sylvan Street and the Thrifty station at 6000 N. Canoga Ave. at Oxnardd Street.
