Good morning, Woodland Hills! It's Thursday, and here are five things to know today:

  1. It's farmers market day at the location, 5601 De Soto Ave. Get your fresh on from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
  2. Barnes and Noble will host a story time for toddlers with Miss Jennifer. The free event begins at 10:30 a.m.
  3. Tomorrow is the last day of the book buyback. Hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday.
  4. Looking ahead, pianist Jeremy Weinglass will perform Friday through Sunday, as he does every weekend, at the Topanga Westfield mall. These city-sponsored performances take place from 3 to 6 p.m. Fridays, 2 to 5 p.m. Saturdays and 1 to 4 p.m. Sundays.
  5. On Sunday, the 300th U.S. Army Band will perform a Salute to our Armed Forces at 6 p.m. at Warren Park as part of the Valley Cultural Center's free Concerts on the Green series.
