Woodland Hills Fortune Teller Charged with Stealing from Clients
A Woodland Hills fortune teller stole thousands from her clients, police allege.
WOODLAND HILLS, CA -- A woman who operated a fortune teller and psychic business in Woodland Hills is facing four felony counts for allegedly stealing thousands of dollars from four of her clients, the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office announced Thursday.
Melissa Lori Lee, 28, pleaded not guilty Wednesday to four counts of grand theft of personal property.
Lee allegedly stole the money between January 2014 and June 2015 from four clients of her fortune-telling business in the 5200 block of Topanga Canyon Boulevard, according to Deputy District Attorney Anet Badali.

She is due back in a Van Nuys courtroom Jan. 31, and could face up to five years behind bars if convicted as charged.
