Woodland Hills Man Arrested in Connection With Storage Facility Theft
Burglary victims can claim recovered property at the Malibu/Lost Hills Station on June 9.
A Woodland Hills man was arrested on suspicion of stealing two truck loads worth of personal belongings from lockers at the , according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
Richard Traber, 32, allegedly committed burglaries at the facility over the course of a month, said Detective Sergeant Mike Holland. Traber's girlfriend, Collette Kurtz, was booked on suspicion of receiving stolen property, Holland said.
Traber is a parolee and detectives found the stolen goods when they conducted a parole compliance check at his residence in the 5500 block of Mason Avenue in Woodland Hills, Holland said. He was arrested on May 15.

Detectives did not say how they fingered Traber as a suspect or whether if Gurtz was living with him.
Traber is being held without bail at the Men's Centrail Jail, while Kurtz was released on bond, according to City News Service.

A public viewing of the recovered items will take place at the on June 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Detectives are asking burglary victims to attend and bring some proof of ownership, such as crime reports, photos, receipts or serial numbers.
