Woodland Hills Townhouse Fire Leaves One Injured
It took 44 firefighters nearly a half-hour to knock down the blaze.
A fire in a two-story townhouse building in Woodland Hills today left a woman hospitalized for treatment of smoke inhalation.
Firefighters were sent to 19246 Hamlin St. at 2:46 p.m. and encountered flames in two units, said the Los Angeles Fire Department's Katherine Main.
It took 44 firefighters nearly a half-hour to knock down the blaze. The cause was under investigation.
