Woodland Hills Triathlete Places First for Her Age in Chicago

The event took place Sunday.

Paige Handy of Woodland Hills took first place in her age group at the Life Time Tri Chicago Saturday.

Held in downtown Chicago, the triathlon is composed of a 1.5K (or .93 mile) swim followed by a 40K (or 24.8 mile) bike ride and 10K (or 6.2 mile) run. Handy completed the course with a time of 2:39:09.

Now in its 30th year, the Life Time Tri Chicago was expected to draw approximately 6,500 competitors
