Woodland Hills Woman Accused of Murder Extradited to LA

Update, Friday 12:35 p.m.: Lois Ann Goodman's next court date has been postponed. An arraignment hearing, in which Goodman is scheduled to enter a plea of guilty or not guilty, will be held Wednesday morning. She is being held in a Van Nuys jail in lieu of a $1 million bail.

Tennis referee Lois Ann Goodman, 70, of Woodland Hills is back in Los Angeles following her in New York City in connection with the April death of her husband.

Extradited to LA, witnesses told KTLA5 news she was accompanied by guards on her flight to LAX and led through the airport in handcuffs Thursday evening.

LAPD homicide detectives, with the assistance of the New York City Police Department, arrested Goodman on suspicion of killing her husband, 80-year-old Alan Frederick Goodman by bludgeoning him to death with a coffee mug.

Police have declined to discuss a motive in the case, other than to say they have established one; however, court records obtained by the New York Daily News indicated Lois Goodman "was communicating with a male individual through the Internet" and had printouts of damaging emails, according to a search warrant affidavit, the newspaper reported.
