• RTD to expand metro Denver and Flatiron Flyer routes with $44 million grant (thecherrycreeknews.com) — Boulder riders could see more frequent Flatiron Flyer buses to Denver and Denver International Airport starting in 2027, thanks to a $44 million state grant to RTD. The funding would boost service along U.S. 36 and key Denver corridors, adding millions of rides if the RTD board approves the plan this November and long-term funding is secured.
   

• No. 12 Texas Tech throttles Colorado with 4 interceptions (statenews.net) — A Big 12 matchup in Boulder ended badly for the Buffaloes, as No. 12 Texas Tech picked off four passes and turned a 7-3 halftime deficit into a 29-7 win. Colorado's offense stalled with three third-quarter interceptions, including a pick-six, while the Red Raiders capitalized with steady passing, a strong ground game, and a decisive turnover edge.
   

• Bison sculpture made by Native youth stolen while on statewide education tour (kdvr.com) — A traveling Native youth art project that recently stopped in Boulder suffered a major setback when its bison sculpture and trailer were stolen during a tour stop in Pueblo. The Denver-based Casa Milagro Youth Solutions group spent months creating the piece to educate Coloradans about bison resilience, and is asking anyone with information to contact Pueblo Police or project organizers.
