'Intuitively knows what I need': How service dogs are transforming lives in Colorado Springs (kktv.com) — Service dogs are making daily life safer and more independent for Colorado Springs residents, from individuals managing complex medical conditions to officers connecting with the community. Local nonprofit Sunrise Service Dogs and the Fountain Police Department highlight how trained animals provide emotional support, mobility help, and even medical alerts, while calling for more applicants, volunteers, and sponsors across southern Colorado.
