Cherokee Trail High School alumna Zoe Rance has been selected for the prestigious Television Academy Foundation Internship program. She is one of 40 students chosen by Television Academy members from across the country for the 2026 Summer Internship program. The Foundation offers paid internships at top Hollywood studios and production companies annually to college students nationwide.
Rance is a rising senior at Howard University majoring in television and film. She will be interning in Los Angeles this summer in the scripted series development department at Bristol Circle Entertainment, a production company founded by Apple TV+’s Pluribus executive producer Jeff Frost, through the Foundation’s program.
“Being selected for this internship by Television Academy members is both an honor and an important milestone in my creative journey,” said Rance. “This only further affirms my commitment to storytelling and motivates me to continue growing within the industry. I'm excited to learn from and contribute to a community where excellence is the standard.
“Ultimately, I hope to write, produce and star in my own television show,” continued Rance. “I am very passionate about telling stories that reflect authentic experiences and create space for underrepresented voices.”
Originally from Denver, Colorado, Rance attended Cherokee Trail High School in Aurora, Colorado.
The Television Academy Foundation shapes the art of creating television by engaging and educating the next generation of television professionals, providing essential resources that help them discover their voices, refine their skills and forge rewarding careers in every sector of the television industry.
