The Broncos may finally figure out what Jahdae Barron can do after Pat Surtain, Riley Moss go down (denverpost.com) — Denver Broncos fans may finally see more of first-round pick Jahdae Barron after injuries forced him into the top cornerback role during Sunday's loss to the 49ers. With Patrick Surtain II and Riley Moss both hurt, coaches praised Barron's steady play, and he could become a starter in coming weeks if their recoveries are slow.
5. Second defendant sentenced in English Bulldog puppy theft (denver7.com) — A Denver man has been sentenced to two years in state prison for helping steal two English Bulldog puppies from a Centennial pet store in 2025, after faking a medical emergency so an accomplice could grab the dogs. Both puppies were recovered, and prosecutors say the case shows their intent to protect local businesses and employees from coordinated thefts and assaults.
