Families won't need to travel to see real fossils paired with life-size Fossil PokĆ©mon, including a cast of SUE the T. rex. You can already join the museum's interest list for early ticket access.

Denver International Airport expecting surge in travelers heading out for fall break (kdvr.com) ā Denver International Airport expects nearly a million passengers to pass through security between Oct. 8 and 19, with the heaviest crowds on Oct. 8, 9 and 18. Denver-area travelers, especially families on school fall breaks, are urged to arrive two hours early, check TSA wait times, and use either security checkpoint to avoid delays.

Denver names 26-member group to help shape data center rules (denvergazette.com) ā Denver has appointed a 26-member working group to recommend new rules for where and how data centers can operate, following a citywide moratorium. For Denver residents, this could shape future impacts on electricity use, water demand, neighborhood quality of life, and projects like the Elyria-Swansea data center.

Aurora seeks boundary change to address encampment near navigation campus (cbsnews.com) ā A homeless encampment sitting on a sliver of land technically inside Denver city limits is complicating Aurora's efforts to clear the site near its Regional Navigation Campus at East 40th and Chambers. Aurora and Denver officials are now working on a boundary adjustment so one city's rules clearly apply, with both mayors saying they aim to resolve the jurisdiction issue in coming months.

Jeff Goldblum and all his jazz coming to chill with Colorado Symphony (denvergazette.com) ā Denver arts fans can catch Jeff Goldblum and the Mildred Snitzer Orchestra with the Colorado Symphony at Boettcher Concert Hall on Oct. 13, plus a two-night Peaches appearance with MCA Denver. The piece also previews a future Denver stop for hit play "Oh, Mary!," a Dancing with the Stars tour date at Ball Arena, and honors Denver Botanic Gardens' late CEO Brian Vogt.
