• Estes Park seeking public comment on Parks and Open Spaces Master Plan (eptrail.com) — Estes Park is asking residents and visitors right now to weigh in on a 20-year Parks and Open Spaces Master Plan that will guide investments in local parks, trails, and natural areas. You can review the draft and submit comments online before trustees consider adoption on Oct. 13, influencing priorities like wildlife protection, accessibility, shade, seating, and year-round park use.
• Estes Park board expresses its official support of fire district tax measure (eptrail.com) — Estes Park's Board of Trustees has formally endorsed ballot measure 6D, a proposed 0.5% sales tax to fund the Estes Valley Fire Protection District's equipment, training, and wildfire mitigation.
