• Frisco Historic Park and Museum invites visitors to solve 1880 mining mystery (summitdaily.com) — Frisco families can dive into a free, interactive "Mystery at the Museum" game at the Frisco Historic Park and Museum this Saturday, Oct. 3, from 2-6 p.m. Participants explore historic buildings, gather clues about a fictional 1880 mining death in Tenmile Canyon, and can win prizes from local businesses, with no registration required.
• Summit County opens applications for government grant program (summitdaily.com) — Local nonprofits and community groups in and around Frisco can now apply for Summit County's Government Grant Program, which funds health, human services, food security, and environmental initiatives. Applications are open through Friday, Oct. 23, with about $500,000 budgeted and clear documentation and impact data required for larger requests.
