• Police reopen 13 cases related to disgraced DNA analyst (newsnationnow.com) — Court proceedings in Golden tied to a statewide DNA testing scandal could affect past criminal cases involving Denver police and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation. A former state forensic scientist has admitted to manipulating DNA data, prompting Denver police to retest 13 cases and potentially triggering retrials and millions in review costs that concern justice and public safety across Colorado.
