2. Grand Junction Air Show returning on Oct. 3-4 (westernslopenow.com) — Grand Junction residents can look forward to the Grand Junction Air Show returning Oct. 3–4 at Grand Junction Regional Airport, featuring the Blue Angels and large crowds each day. Plan ahead for shuttle-only access, since there's no on-site parking, and check the event website for tickets and detailed parking information before you go.
3. Why More And More Travelers Are Ditching Moab For Colorado's Underrated Desert Haven (planetware.com) — Grand Junction is highlighted as a quieter, more affordable alternative to Moab, with easy access via regional flights, I-70, or Amtrak.
