• Lawsuit says Hudson has more control over proposed ICE detention center than town has acknowledged (9news.com) — Hudson residents are challenging the town's decision that a proposed 1,200-bed ICE detention center can operate at the former Hudson Correctional Facility without a new permit, arguing officials have more zoning authority than they admit. The lawsuit says Hudson's own land-use code requires a conditional use permit and public process, while the town's planning director maintains the use is allowed by right under current industrial zoning.
