• Idaho Springs skate park celebrates first anniversary (clearcreekcourant.com) — Idaho Springs' skate park just marked its first anniversary with a big community celebration and strong turnout from local and statewide skaters. The city has also secured a new $750,000 Great Outdoors Colorado grant to expand Shelly/Quinn Park with pickleball courts, an inclusive playground, restrooms, concessions, and a kids' soccer field, further growing this popular gathering spot.
