LAKEWOOD, CO — A man who's accused of killing a woman in a Lakewood motel has been charged with first-degree murder, the First Judicial District Attorney's office said.
Asha Thompson, 32, was arrested earlier this month after Brittany Guern was found shot to death Oct. 18 at the Blue Sky Motel, 6205 W. Colfax Ave.
Officers were called to the motel just after 9:30 p.m., and found Guern suffering from a gunshot wound. She was taken to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
