Hensen has died at 88 after a three-year battle with ALS. Hensen helped shape key Colorado roadways, led Boulder-based TransPlans Inc., taught at Fort Lewis College and the University of Denver, and later became a respected accident-reconstruction expert while staying deeply involved in his neighborhood school community.
