Littleton weighs future of historic Lee Gulch flumes amid Englewood ditch project (littletonindependent.net) — Littleton City Council is deciding whether to spend more than $100,000 every decade to stabilize the historic Lee Gulch flumes near Lower Ridgewood Park as Englewood pipes the City Ditch. Councilmembers are split between preserving Littleton’s heritage and limiting long-term costs, and are asking Englewood to share more of the bill before a June 2 deadline.
2. Bradshaw, Fridge awarded Mr. ACU, Miss ACU at Senior Sendoff (acuoptimist.com) — A Littleton native, mathematics major Avrie Paxson, was honored with a B. Sherrod Scholarship as part of Abilene Christian University’s Senior Sendoff celebrations. The event recognized numerous graduating seniors for leadership, academics, and service, culminating in a candlelight devotional before commencement ceremonies for the Class of 2026.

The measures could affect affordable housing communities across Colorado, including any mobile home parks serving Littleton residents, and now await or have received action from Gov. Jared Polis.
