• Colorado Politics Calendar Sept. 21-27 (coloradopolitics.com) — Littleton residents can plug into state politics this week with Jason Crow's 5th Annual Crowfest at 2920 Brewery Lane on Saturday evening, plus other nearby party meetings and forums across the metro area. The calendar lays out daily events from Sept. 21–27, including luncheons, Democratic Socialists organizing calls, and League of Women Voters forums you can attend or join online.
   

• 'I still have a bullet inside of me': Fundraiser hosted for Golden police officer, shot during deadly OIS (kdvr.com) — A Golden police officer recovering from a serious August shooting was the focus of a fundraiser Saturday at Saucy's Pizza on South Kipling Street in Littleton, with all proceeds going to support his family. Neighbors packed the restaurant throughout the day as the officer described his long recovery ahead and thanked first responders and community members who helped save his life.
   

• Colorado's population corridor should have corridor-style passenger trains (coloradopolitics.com) — Littleton residents inside the Front Range Passenger Rail District will soon vote on a new one‑third‑cent sales tax to help fund CoCo passenger trains extending service from Denver through Littleton to Colorado Springs and Pueblo by 2032. Essentials like groceries and utilities would be exempt, while the project aims to finally bring regular corridor-style rail service to Colorado's most populated stretch.
