The Littleton-based nonprofit immerses K–8 students in Augmentative and Alternative Communication, helping reduce behavioral struggles and allowing kids to share complex thoughts, connect with peers, and participate more fully in daily life.
• Littleton voters to decide $10M mill levy override (denvergazette.com) — Littleton voters will decide this November whether to approve a $10.3 million mill levy override for Littleton Public Schools, aimed at closing a budget gap and funding teacher pay, career programs, and security. If it passes, the typical Littleton homeowner with a $600,000 house would pay about $150 more per year, after the district has already made staffing cuts and wage freezes.
• Fairview's Edwards brothers go 3-5 at 5A state golf tournament (timescall.com) — High school golfers from across Colorado wrapped up the Class 5A state tournament at Columbine Country Club in Littleton, where Fairview brothers Luke and Ash Edwards finished third and fifth overall. Several Boulder Valley and nearby players also cracked the top 10, capping strong seasons in the unusually hot October conditions on the Littleton course.
