Officers also handled hit-and-run and property-damage crashes near major routes like Ken Pratt Boulevard, Hover Street, and Main Street, offering residents a snapshot of recent neighborhood safety issues.
3. Livmark, Hillside to Develop 185-Unit Multifamily Community in Longmont, Colorado (rebusinessonline.com) — A 185-unit apartment and townhome community called Fielder at Fox Hill is now under construction next to Fox Hill Country Club in Longmont, with completion expected in fall 2027. Residents can anticipate modern amenities including a clubhouse, pool and hot tub, coworking space, EV chargers in every garage, and multiple pocket parks and outdoor gathering areas.
4. Aurora police put Flock cameras in high school parking lots, raising concerns about surveillance of students (denverpost.com) — Aurora police have installed Flock license-plate-reading cameras at nine high schools, sparking privacy concerns from student advocates and civil rights attorneys. For Longmont residents, the key detail is that Longmont is among several Colorado cities that have already canceled or declined to renew Flock contracts, even as other districts and municipalities still debate the technology's safety and surveillance implications.
