Colorado Parks and Wildlife urges locals to secure trash, remove food sources, and even take down bird feeders while bears are bulking up for winter to avoid conflicts in yards and streets you may frequent.
3. Colorado Smoke Shop Owners Agree to $152K Kratom Settlement (longmontleader.com) — A Main Street smoke shop in Longmont is part of a statewide settlement requiring its owners to pay $152,000 and tighten testing and labeling of kratom products under Colorado's stricter rules. The agreement brings new oversight directly to a local retailer and reinforces age limits, potency caps, and packaging standards that could affect what products Longmont customers see on the shelves.
4. Cheapest gas stations in Colorado (krdo.com) — Longmont drivers can currently find some of Colorado's cheaper gas at Costco on East Ken Pratt Boulevard for $3.85 and Walmart nearby for $3.89.
