• Numerous Pikes Peak region golfers qualify for upcoming state tourney (gazette.com) — Manitou Springs golf fans can watch local standout Hayden Dorsey compete for a 3A individual state title when the boys golf championships tee off Oct. 5–6. He's one of more than 30 Pikes Peak region golfers heading to courses across Colorado, with Dorsey currently ranked third in 3A after finishing third at last year's tournament.
