1s and 7s Run Wild On Consecutive Days In CT Lottery's Play3 Game

CONNECTICUT — Triple identical number combinations have come up on back-to-back days in the CT Lottery’s highly popular Play3 game.

The the bonus numbers even matched.

On Sunday, the combination of 1-1-1 was drawn with the Wild Ball also coming out as 1.

Then, on Monday the Play3 combo was 7-7-7 with a Wild Ball of 7.

The drawings resulted in more than $3.5 million in prizes won by 13,000-plus players.

Play3 and Play4 are the most popular lottery games with approximately 1.5 million tickets sold each day. Adding the Wild Ball feature provides even more opportunities to win. Players who add the Wild Ball can use it to replace one of the numbers drawn by the Lottery, boosting their chances of winning a prize.

While many winners are expected to claim their prizes in the next few days, the CT Lottery Tuesday was reminding players that they have 180 calendar days from the date of draw to collect their winnings.
