2 Charged As Bristol Club Suspected To Have Been Used For Prostitution

BRISTOL, CT — Two men are facing prostitution and trafficking charges after authorities found them to be running a suspected prostitution operation at a Bristol club called "Aqua After Dark."
The case began in January, when Bristol police said they received "numerous complaints" about the business located on Farmington Avenue.
The club was investigated by the Bristol Police Department Narcotics Enforcement Team and the Connecticut State Police Statewide Organized Crime Investigative Task Force, after which surveillance and undercover operations determined that Vincent Whiteley and David Henderson ran the business.

The pair were arrested Wednesday afternoon. Whiteley was charged with Conspiracy at Trafficking in Persons and second-degree Conspiracy at Promoting Prostitution, while Henderson was charged with second-degree Conspiracy at Promoting Prostitution, Conspiracy at Trafficking in Persons, Permitting Prostitution, and Trafficking in Persons.
Both were held at the Bristol Police Department on a $250,000 cash surety bond set by the court.
