4 Injured When Car Slams Into CT Bakery
Two of those injured were flown to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries after a car struck a bakery Friday, according to reports.

WATERBURY, CT — Four people were injured, two seriously, when a car crashed into a Waterbury bakery on Friday, WFSB 3-TV reported.
The car struck the Rose Vega Bakery on Main Street.
A 19-year-old inside the bakery at the time of the crash is in critical condition, according to NBC CT.

A 65-year-old Bridgeport woman was also inside the bakery when the crash occurred and was seriously injured. Both people seriously injured were flown by Lifestar Helicopter to Hartford Hospital.
Two other people — the driver and another person inside the bakery — suffered minor injuries, according to WFSB 3-TV.

The accident is under investigation. No charges have been filed.
The building was significantly damaged in the crash, NBC CT reported.
Police said a car was driving east on Pearl Street when it crashed into the building. Reports that the car was driving erratically before the crash are under investigation.
A GoFundMe was organized by a Waterbury resident "to help bring the community together to join forces and help support the family that endured this traumatizing event that occurred on Main Street involving the establishment Rosa Vega Bakery."
The fundraiser goes on to call the bakery "a huge staple in this town, and they are the friendliest people you could ever meet."
