The National Weather Service confirmed a fourth tornado touched down in Connecticut since the beginning of August.

CONNECTICUT — Connecticut is now up to four confirmed tornadoes for the month of August.
Tropical Storm Isaias produced one tornado in Westport and now it's been confirmed by the National Weather Service that three tornadoes touched down in Litchfield County on Aug. 2. Isaias blew through the state on Aug. 4.
Fox 61 reported that the weather service confirmed this week an EF-0 tornado touched down in Norfolk on Aug. 2. According to Fox 61, the weather service investigated the possible tornado in Norfolk but couldn't find any evidence to back that claim up. However, more than a week later, the weather service confirmed the tornado occurred based on photos and eyewitness accounts.

Once the weather service this week confirmed the tornado did in fact touch down in Norfolk, Barbagallo said, "Thanks @ryanhanrahan we were distracted for a week here in the #iceboxofct but we strive for accuracy even if late."
The other confirmed tornadoes that hit Litchfield County on Aug. 2 include one in Sharon which produced top wind speeds of 80 mph and lasted for a quarter-mile. No one was injured.
"Large trees were uprooted," the weather service said. "The metal infrastructure of greenhouses was destroyed. Eyewitnesses reported garden supplies rotating in the air above the nursery. Down the road from the nursery, additional uprooted trees were observed."
The other tornado occurred in Falls Village and it produced wind gusts of 90 mph and lasted for 1.7 miles. No one was hurt.
"The National Weather Service storm survey team confirms an EF1 tornado in Falls Village, CT," the weather service said. "The survey team observed many snapped and uprooted trees along Lime Rock Station Road near River Road. Additional downed trees were noted along the path of the tornado."

NBC Connecticut meteorologist Kaitlyn McGrath uploaded a video that shows the now-confirmed tornado. (You can watch the video here.)
The Republican-American shared video of the tornado and said three Paley's Farm Market greenhouses were "heavily damaged, with plastic roofs blown off." Two trees were knocked over by the storm, the Rep-Am reported.
And last but not least, Isaias produced a tornado in Westport which brought winds up to 105 mph.
" A discrete, low topped storm cell, moving north northwest from Long Island Sound and over Saugatuck Shores in Westport CT, produced a waterspout, that made landfall as an EF1 tornado around 140pm on August 4," the weather service wrote. "The waterspout was captured on video by a private meteorologist as it was moving towards Saugatuck Shores in Westport CT around 140pm. The tornado produced severe damage to a house on Surf Rd, with the roof being ripped off, as well as portions of the second floor`s supporting wall structure.
"This debris was tossed about 30-50 feet north on the property. In addition, the tops of several pine trees in the front and side yard were either sheared or snapped off. The tornado likely quickly lifted and possibly tracked north as a funnel cloud for another 1 to 2 miles, before dissipating. The funnel cloud could have touched down as a waterspout on the Saugatuck River, south of Route 1, based on an eyewitness report from S Compo Rd in Westport, CT."
