6 Teams Improve Positions In Latest Weekly High School Football Poll

One new entry cracked the top 10 in the most recent balloting of Connecticut sports media members.

CONNECTICUT — Southington High School strengthened its position atop the most recent weekly Connecticut football poll, while one new entry cracked the top 10.

The Blue Knights earned top nods from all but one of the 24 sports media members polled, with West Haven receiving the other first-place vote. Six teams in the top 10 were ranked higher than the previous week.

Here are the top 10, with last week's ranking in parentheses, a well as all other programs collecting votes.
