94 New Coronavirus Related Deaths Reported In CT: Latest Updates
The number of coronavirus deaths has been steadily increasing this week in Connecticut. Here are the latest town-by-town numbers.
CONNECTICUT — The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Connecticut has risen to 35,464 while the number of deaths increased to 3,219, according to the latest data from the state Department of Public Health.
There are currently 1,103 people hospitalized and that number declined by 55 over the past 24 hours. The number of new coronavirus cases over the past 24 hours includes 609 but the number of new deaths rose significantly by 94. Connecticut conducted 6,619 tests over the past 24 hours and 150,000 people have been tested since the pandemic began.
Concerning hospitalizations and changes over the past 24 hours: Fairfield County is at 362, a decline of 10; New Haven County is at 394, a decline of 10; Hartford County is at 269, a decline of 27; Middlesex County is at 31, a decline of 5; Litchfield County is at 14, a decline of 4; New London County is at 24, no change; Tolland County is at 3, no change; and Windham County is at 6, an increase of 1.
