ALDI Supermarket to Hold All-Day Hiring Event

NEW MILFORD, CT -- Discount supermarket chain ALDI will be holding a hiring event for its New Milford store on Tuesday, July 24, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. ALDI New Milford is located at 125 Danbury Road.

The store is looking to hire store associates, shift managers and manager trainees.

Salary/Wages:

• Manager Trainee: $60,000 per year ($25.50 per hour averaging 40-45 hours per week), with an opportunity to earn $80,000-$100,000 per year as a Store Manager

· Shift Manager: $16.85 per hour ($12.35 per hour plus an additional $4.50 per hour premium when performing manager duties)

· Store Associate: $12.35-$13.10 per hour (pay increase after six months of employment )

Job Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older to apply

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Drug screening and background check

• Must be available to work anytime between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m., Monday – Sunday

• Retail experience preferred

· Management experience preferred for Manager Trainees

• Ability to lift 45 pounds

With plans to expand to 2,500 stores nationwide by the end of 2022 – an increase from the nearly 1,800 U.S. stores currently operating – ALDI is expected to create an additional 25,000 jobs.
