Amazon Offering Summertime Tips To Thwart Porch Piracy
Amazon says certain steps can keep packages safe.
CONNECTICUT — Prime Day is live through Friday — and with more packages on more porches, Amazon is offering a few simple tips to make sure deliveries go smoothly.
Here they are:
- Turn on delivery notifications — know exactly when packages arrive via the Amazon app or Map Tracking.
- Choose a secure spot — a side porch, a garage, or an Amazon Locker nearby.
- If you're not home, ask a neighbor to grab it.
