As of 3 p.m. Wednesday, the cat was still in the tree.

JLO Tree Services LLC has responded and will be going to the site this evening to attempt a rescue, according to the organization.

Previous efforts to get help had been unsuccessful due to timing and cost issues, the Facebook post said.

“A neighbor has been doing everything they can on the ground to coordinate help,” the post said. “This cat has been up there far too long.”
