THOMPSON, CT — A motorcyclist has died from injuries he sustained in a two-vehicle accident over the weekend, state officials said.
Travis Ray Conner, 50, of 4 Hillside Ave., Thompson, was initially transported to Day Kimball Hospital, then transferred to Hartford Hospital, according to state police.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner on Monday confirmed Conner died due to complications of blunt impact injuries.
State police said the accident happened Saturday around 3:15 p.m. on Route 12, north of Thatcher Road.
According to police, a 2025 KIA Telluride, operated by a North Grosvenordale woman, was traveling northbound on Route 12.
A 2021 Harley Davidson motorcycle, operated by Conner, was southbound on Route 12 when “it encroached into the northbound lane,” police said.
“The Harley Davidson was struck by the KIA's front end,” state police said.
The accident remains under investigation.
