Car Goes Up In Flames After Crash With Deer In Salem

SALEM, CT — A person was hospitalized after a car fire Tuesday, according to fire officials.

Firefighters were called at 12:37 p.m. to Route 11 prior to exit 13 for a vehicle fire.

The blaze started after the car struck a deer.

One person was taken to the hospital for evaluation.
