Motorcyclist Killed In Crash On Founders Bridge In East Hartford: State Police

EAST HARTFORD, CT — A motorcyclist was killed in a crash on the Founders Bridge late Sunday, according to state police.

Troop H in Hartford was notified of a collision on the bridge around 11:56 p.m., state police said.

Emergency medical personnel arrived and determined the motorcycle operator had sustained fatal injuries, according to state police.

The victim's next of kin has been notified. State police as of Monday morning had not released the victim's identity.

The roadway was shut down until around 5:50 a.m. while police conducted an investigation, but it has since reopened to traffic. The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
