Funeral Directors from Across Connecticut Collect Food for CT Foodshare

CT Funeral Directors Association Members and Suppliers filled a hearse with food to support our neighbors in need.

This post was contributed by a community member.

Funeral directors from across Connecticut gathered this week for the Connecticut Funeral Directors Association (CFDA)'s annual "Fill the Hearse" Food Drive for @ctfoodshare! In Connecticut alone, 1 in every 7 families faces food insecurity. Thanks to the incredible generosity of the CFDA members and suppliers who gathered at the Wethersfield Country Club for CFDA's benefit golf tournament, we helped fill the back of a hearse from Parks Superior Funeral Limousine and Hearse Specialists to support our neighbors in need. A massive thank you to everyone who brought non-perishable items for Connecticut Foodshare.
