CONNECTICUT, CT — The Connecticut Lottery is asking players to keep and recheck Lady Luck scratch tickets after a processing error disrupted ticket scanning.
The issue may affect tickets from Lady Luck, Game No. 1869, scanned since Friday, Oct. 16, according to the lottery.
Players may receive a "see retailer" message when checking tickets, while retailers may see an "invalid barcode" message. Both messages indicate the system was unable to verify a ticket's status.
The lottery said the problem stems from an internal processing error and does not affect the scratch game itself.
Ticket checking and cashing were to resume at 5 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20. Players should keep their tickets and check them again, lottery officials said.
The lottery said it is not aware of any players who have been denied a prize.
