CONNECTICUT — The CT Lottery is again asking players who attempted to check or cash a Lady Luck scratch ticket (Game Np. 1869) between 5 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, and 5 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20, to check their tickets again following a temporary system issue.
During the period, the issue prevented Lady Luck tickets from being properly validated or cashed, including winning tickets. Depending on how a ticket was checked, players or retail associates may have received no response or encountered messages such as "INVALID BARCODE," "GAME_CLOSED," "Please see retailer," or "Invalid Game Number."
The issue was resolved at 5 a.m.on Oct. 20, with ticket checking and prize payments operating normally.
No other CT Lottery games were affected, and the temporary issue did not change the outcome of any Lady Luck ticket or its eligibility for a prize.
The CT Lottery identified 135 winning Lady Luck tickets affected by the issue, totaling $1,740 in prizes. As of Thursday, October 22, approximately 80 of those tickets had not yet been claimed, with prizes ranging from $5 to $100. Players who tried to check or cash a Lady Luck ticket during the affected period should check it again using the CT Lottery mobile app or at an authorized CT Lottery Retailer.
Players who discarded a ticket after an unsuccessful attempt to check or cash it during the affected period should contact the CT Lottery at (860) 713-2700 for further assistance.
Lady Luck ticket sales ended October 16, 2026, after the game's final top prize was claimed. Players have until April 15, 2027, to claim their prizes.
The CT Lottery apologizes to players who had trouble checking or cashing their Lady Luck tickets and encourages anyone who may have been affected to contact us.
