Body Found In River In CT: Reports

NEW HARTFORD, CT — A body was found in the Farmington River on Friday, according to media reports this weekend.
State Police were alerted to the discovery by the person's dog, who returned home from a walk without the person in question, WTNH News 8 reports.
The person had been spotted walking their dog around 3:30 p.m. and emergency responders found the body around 10:30 p.m.

State Police used a K-9 team and then a drone to search for the missing person, NBC CT reported. The body was pulled near the Farmington River Tubing, NBC CT reported.
The incident is under investigation. No ID has been released.
