BREAKING: West Hartford, Farmington Asked To Help Find 13-Year-Old Dog With Tumor
Police asked West Hartford and Farmington residents to watch for 'Oreo,' who escaped owner, near the MDC property and Cassandra Boulevard.

WEST HARTFORD/FARMINGTON, CT — West Hartford police are asking residents in West Hartford and Farmington to help look for a missing dog named Oreo.
The dog was described in a public notice as 13 years old, female and wearing a pink collar.
According to the notice, Oreo is not from the area.

The notice said Oreo was visiting Farmington Animal Hospital to have a large tumor looked at on her front leg when she escaped from her owner.
The search is focused on MDC property and the Cassandra Boulevard area, according to the notice.

In the appeal for help, the post said, "West Hartford and Farmington Folks, we need your help!"
It identified the dog by name and description, stating, "This is Oreo. She is 13 years old. She’s a female, and she’s wearing a pink collar."
The notice also said, "She is not from this area."
Residents who spot Oreo are being directed to contact police.
Those who seek 'Oreo' are asked to call the West Hartford Police Department at 860-523-5203.
